Alright, so, quite a few updates for this journal :D

So, birthday's come and gone, and it was fab. Partied it up with a few close friends on saturday, and got some great gifts. Giftcards (from ~Winter-Tigress & ~Dark-Shadow12, and two others), mostly, which are always good, a LOT of chocolate(thanks ~night-faery! ;P), a FAAAAAAAAB poster of johnny lennon, some strap locks for zee epiphone (thanks ~Pentaxanadian :D), and a great little umbrella from ~eldestasian. It was fun, that's all i can really say.

Monday was my actual birthday, so my mom woke me up early to give me my present. Turns out, it was a brand new laptop! so i'm typing this from my new baby, and trying to get ALL of my music (and other bells and whistles) re-configured on here. Still not a huge fan of vista, but, meh. It gets the job done.

Got the letter from Visa yesterday about the insurance on my Canon (THANK YOU GOD.), luckily it didn't get thrown out with my dad's junk mail at work ^^; so, it's been shipped out, and I'm just awaiting a new one! :iconbiggrinplz:

AND NOW. POSSIBLY THE GREATEST PRESENT I'VE EVER RECIEVED. EVER.

Yesterday, my parents presented me with 2 tickets to go see FREAKING PAUL McCARTNEY on july 17th, in new york city, baby! Needless to say, I was ECSTATIC. If we hadn't been out for dinner, I probably would've screamed. For a LOOOOOONG time. REALLY LOUDLY.

I still need to release some of that excitement, so allow me a few moments of useless gibberish...

I CAN'T WAIT.

*breathes* I'm also heading up to a cottage on Lake Huron in about 1 1/2 weeks, so that should be a ton of fun, and hopefully I'll have gotten my Canon back by then *crosses fingers*

Anyways, sorry for the little outburst, and I know that some of you couldn't care less *coughcough~Winter-Tigresscoughcough*, but I thought I'd try and spread a little positive energy over the dA server. Even if it's only for my own benefit...
